SACRAMENTS

First reconciliation

At Holy Family, first reconciliation is celebrated during first term when children are in Year 3. Appropriate preparation is carried out beforehand. Children who are older but who have still to receive the Sacrament for the first time are welcome and will receive suitable preparation.

  • Wednesday 7th February 2024 @ 7:30pm
  • Thursday 8th February 2024 @ 7.30pm

Commitment Weekend (at all Masses)

  • Saturday 10th February (5.30pm) & Sunday 11th February 2022 (8.30am & 10am)

 Reconciliation Rehearsal 

  •  Tuesday 12th March, 6.30pm or Wednesday 13th March, 6.30pm

First Reconciliation

  • Friday 15 March 2024 @ 4.30pm or 6.00pm
  • Saturday 16 March 2024 @ 3pm

first holy communion

First Holy Communion is celebrated during August/September when children are in Year 3. Appropriate preparation is carried out beforehand. Children who are older but who have still to receive the Sacrament for the first time are welcome and will receive suitable preparation.

School Term 3 2024 – Dates to be Confirmed

confirmation

Confirmation is celebrated each year for young people and others who may not have had the opportunity previously. Young people in year 6 at School or later are eligible.

(Please note that children baptised in the Maronite Catholic rite and other similar rites were also confirmed at the same time. Confirmation can be conferred only once.)
